Details of Events in Arts , Cultural and Entertainment segment :

1. Singing (Solo & Group)
2. Dancing (Solo & Group)

8. Talent Show (Stand-up Comedy, Mimicry, etc.)
9. Mime Show
10. Painting and Drawing

Event Guidelines:

1. Singing (Solo & Group):
   1. Both individual and group contestants are eligible (groups should not exceed 3 members).
   2. Song selection can be from the following genres: classical, folk, western, or rap.
   3. Contestants must introduce themselves, their college, and the title of the song they will perform before starting.
   4. The total duration of the song should not exceed 5 minutes.
   5. Lyrics must be free of profanity, vulgarity, or political allusions.
2. Dancing (Solo & Group):
   1. Both individual and group contestants are eligible (groups should not exceed 10 members).
   2. Music selection can be from classical, folk, or western genres, and participants should select appropriate costumes.
   3. The total duration of the performance should not exceed 7 minutes for solo and 10 minutes for Group.
   4. The music should be wholesome and free from vulgar lyrics or language. Participants must submit their music before the event.
3. Fashion Show:
   1. The theme for the event is "Fostering Sustainability: Revive, Reuse, and Recycle."
   2. Teams may consist of 3-5 members, but individual contestants are also eligible.
   3. Each performance (team or individual) should not exceed 7 minutes.
   4. All costumes must maintain decency and respect for the theme, including fashion design.
   5. Contestants should bring their own music tracks and submit them prior to the event.
4. Musical Band:
   1. The theme for the event is Street Style.
   2. The team should consist of 4 members (minimum).
   3. Participants must bring their own instruments.
   4. The time limit for each performance is 8 to 10 minutes.
5. Skit:
   1. The team should consist of 6 to 8 members.
   2. The performance duration should be between 15 to 20 minutes (including setup time).
   3. Teams must bring their own costumes and props.
6. Short Film:
   1. The theme for the event is "Fostering Sustainability: Revive, Reuse, and Recycle."
   2. The duration of the short film should be between 1 to 15 minutes.
   3. The short film should not contain vulgar language or political allusions.
   4. Submit the short film before the event. The best films will be screened on 7th, 8th, and 9th February 2025.
7. Photo Contest:
   1. Only individual contestants are eligible.
   2. The photo must be taken within the QIS campus.
   3. The submitted photo should meet the following criteria:
   4. • Resolution: 640 pixels
      • File size: no larger than 15 MB
      • Format: JPG
8. Talent Show (Mimicry/Mono Action/Dialogue Delivery):
   1. Each participant will be allowed a maximum performance time of 5 minutes.
   2. Participants may use makeup, drapery, and background music, but personal attacks, vulgarity, and offensive content will result in disqualification.
   3. The use of obscene language, profanity, or religious extremism is prohibited.
   4. The decision of the judges will be final and binding.
9. Mime Show:
   1. The theme for the event is "Fostering Sustainability: Revive, Reuse, and Recycle."
   2. Participants must perform without speaking.
   3. Use of facial expressions and clear actions is required.
   4. Performers should engage with the audience through eye contact.
10. Painting and Drawing:
    1. The theme for the event is "Fostering Sustainability: Revive, Reuse, and Recycle."
    2. Participants must bring their own materials for painting and drawing.
