Placement Policy
Introduction:
This Placement Policy outlines the guidelines and procedures for campus recruitment in autonomous
colleges. It aims to ensure a fair and transparent placement process, benefiting both students and
recruiters.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Only final-year students who have completed all academic requirements are eligible to participate.
- Students must meet the company’s criteria, including academic performance, skill requirements, and other conditions.
- Students with backlogs must clear them before participating subject to the company policy.
Registration Process:
- Interested students must register with the Placement Cell before the deadline.
- A valid and updated resume must be submitted for verification.
- Students must attend pre-placement talks (PPT) conducted by recruiters.
Placement Process:
- A student who receives a job offer cannot apply for further placements unless:

- The package of the new opportunity is significantly higher (it should be greater than 1Lakh)
- The new opportunity is in a core sector relevant to their field.
- If a student rejects an offer without valid reasoning, they may be restricted from further placements.
Code of Conduct:
- Students must adhere to professional behaviour and ethics during interviews.
- Misconduct, misrepresentation, or indiscipline will result in disqualification from placements.
- Students must respect the confidentiality of placement-related information.
Company-Specific Policies:
- The Placement Cell may prioritize certain companies based on reputation, compensation, or industry relevance.
- If a company withdraws an offer due to unforeseen circumstances, the student may be allowed to reapply.
Miscellaneous:
- The Placement Cell reserves the right to make final decisions on disputes or exceptions.
- Any grievances must be submitted in writing to the Placement Office.
