The department of Civil Engineering was established in the year 2014. The department offers B.Tech (Civil Engineering) from the academic year 2014, M.Tech (Transportation Engineering) from the academic year 2019 and M.Tech (Structural Engineering) from the academic year 2021. The Civil Engineering Department is committed to provide opportunities for all students to become active life-long learners with the necessary competencies, industrial oriented skills, and good entrepreneur with moral values, able to contribute and succeed in adopting the global rapid technological changes. It aims to do this by enhancing learning and teaching capabilities through its highly qualified & dedicated faculty with good infra structural facilities, constantly contributing for the best performance and ensuring a good working environment for imparting better quality technical education. The department has qualified and experienced faculty members; many of them are with Ph.D. degree. The faculty members actively engage in research and constantly publish papers in International and National Journals. The department regularly organizes technical workshops for the faculty members to expose them to emerging areas.
