Electronics Engineering
(VLSI Design & Technology)

The Department of Electronics Engineering (VLSI Design and Technology) was started in the year 2022. It provides students with a strong foundation in digital and analog integrated circuit (IC) design, FPGA-based prototyping, ASIC development, and semiconductor device modeling. The curriculum is designed to equip students with expertise in EDA tools such as Cadence, Synopsys, Mentor Graphics, and Xilinx, ensuring they are industry-ready. the department actively engages in cutting-edge research areas, including AI/ML in VLSI, photonic ICs, and nanoelectronics. Collaborations with industry leaders and research organizations provide students with practical exposure and opportunities to work on real-world semiconductor challenges.

The department is equipped with state-of-the-art laboratories to support hands-on learning and research in VLSI design and technology. The VLSI Design Lab offers high-end computing facilities for HDL programming, RTL design, synthesis, and verification. The ASIC and FPGA Lab enables students to implement and test digital designs using industry-standard FPGA boards.
