It is rightly said ???knowledge is power???. Therefore Library is one of the most key component of an educational institution. Hence, the Library is also called as the ???Heart of the institution???.
The college has well established central library with plinth area of 12,000 sq ft building. The central library has rich collection of Books, National & International Print Journals, Magazines, e journals, e books, Video lectures through EKLAVYA Technology satellite channel, DELNET membership with ILL, NPTEL video lectures, Fully automation with barcode technology for transactions, OPAC (Online Public Access Catalogue), Digital library with 65 mbps internet facility to 46 systems, reprographic facility, Onlien Print facility, Department libraries, Back volumes of periodicals, Project reports, CD???s and Sc & St Book bank library books and all daily news papers.
Library service as a resource center and aims to develop a comprehensive collection of document???s useful for faculty and students of the institute and provides an efficient dissemination of knowledge.

Any changes the timings shall be notified from time to time in the central Library notice board.
The Central Library has fully automated. We are using the LAN version of ECAP (Engineering College Automation Package). It is designed and developed by Web prose Soft, Visakhapatnam, The Central Library database consists of all the books, Book Bank books, Back volumes of Periodicals, Project Reports, CD???s, Journals (Print) Delnet ILL books, Question Papers etc. The user can search the database by Author, Title, and Subject to know whether a book is there in library. We are providing 6 systems for OPAC (Online Public Access Catalogue) at the circulation counter.
Using the Barcode Scanners for issues, returns, renewals, reservation transactions of books at the circulation counter. It is designed and developed by Bartender, Hyderabad.
